Structural characterization includes NMR, Mass, IR and UV-visible spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Corrosion inhibition behaviour of aforesaid compounds on mild steel in 0.5M sulphuric acid was examined by electrochemical methods including potentiodynamic polarization analysis, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and noise studies. This study also aims to find out the relationship between phytoplankton population along with some Physicochemical variables. Sampling was performed in 5 sampling sites. Studies on the phytoplankton assemblages in Cheruchakkichola results 53 species belongs to six classes namely Chlorophyceae, Bacillariophyceae, Dinophyceae, Cyanophyceae and Euglenophyceae. Chlorophyceae shows progressive wealth and abundance on the study area. Cyanophyceae and Euglenophyceae were observed to least dominance. According to Nygaard and Palmer index, low supremacy of Cyanophyceae and Euglenophyceae shows that the studied ecosystem should be least organically polluted and suitable for human consumption purposes. The plot is widely using in the areas of plant breeding, genetics, manufacturing industry, agriculture, etc. Unfortunately, the least-square principal component analysis is not robust to the presence of outliers in the data set and hence the principal component biplot too. The extreme observations may unduly influence the form of the first few principal components and change the actual structure of the biplot. Consequently, the inference based on this plot will be misleading when the data contain outliers. This paper introduces a robust principal component biplot based on ROBPCA method proposed by Hubert, Rousseeuw and Vanden Branden (2005). It was found that Hb was much more conserved than Mb and that Human sequences should great similarity to Chimpanzees. Old World monkeys showed maximum differences. Phylogenetic trees constructed were consistent with previous studies which mapped the evolutionary route. The pyridine-2- carbaldehyde derivatives exhibited very good corrosion inhibition on copper in HNO<sub>3</sub> medium and the inhibition efficiency increased with the increase in concentration of the inhibitor. The adsorption of the inhibitor on the surface of the corroding metal obeys Langmuir and El-Awady adsorption isotherm for 2PC2ABA and 2PC3ABA respectively. Thermodynamic parameters (K<sub>ads</sub>, ΔG<sup>0</sup><sub>ads</sub>) were calculated using adsorption isotherm. Basically all chemical pesticides are poisons and pose deep rooted danger to the environment and humans through their persistence in nature and human tissue. Bioremediation is the evolving method for the removal and degradation of many environmental pollutants. Neonicotionoid and Organophospahate insecticides are the fastest growing classes of insecticides used in modern crop production. Thiamethoxam and Quinalphos are the two selected insecticides. Microorganisms play an important role in degrading synthetic chemicals in soil. Selected bacterial colonies such as Bacillus and Pseudomonas were isolated from the forest area (virgin soil) from Valparai, TamilNadu. These bacterial isolates are cultured on insecticides amended agar media and NA broth at different concentrations to know the bacteria population at different concentrations of pesticides. Copper (Cu) is an essential element for all living organisms. Cu is released both naturally and through human activities; it is extensively spread into the environment and often causes environmental pollution. Lablab purpureus is a species of bean in the family Fabaceae. The present study was conducted to understand the effects of different concentration of copper metal stress on the morphology and physiology of Hyacinth bean. Copper stress was induced in 14-day old seedlings of uniform size with half-strength Hoagland media containing CuSO4 (10mM, 50mM, 100mM, 500mM, 1000mM, 1500mM) for a period of 14 days. Growth parameters such shoot length, root length petiole length, leaf area, plant biomass and chlorophyll estimation were carried out. All the growth parameters showed significant reduction when Cu concentration was increased.
